Ground Source Heat Pumps

Ground source heat pumps (GSHPs) use pipes buried in the garden to extract natural heat from the ground. This power can then be used by radiators, underfloor heating panels and hot water systems, saving you money on energy bills.

The temperature beneath the surface of the ground stays fairly constant throughout the year, making GSHPs a sound investment as much in winter as they are in summer.

  • Good return on investment

Some of our ground source projects

What our customers say

We commissioned Eagle Electrical to install a Ground Source Heat Pump in our 19th century farmhouse, as our old oil boiler urgently needed replacing. Eagle had to come in and pick up the job, after our previous installer failed to carry out the installation as contracted.
Guy at Eagle proceeded to arrange everything for us, and managed the whole project, involving a range of professionals and trades to eventually install a fully working system. It was a huge undertaking as it required a lot of earthworks in our paddock, which is now re-growing really well a few weeks after commissioning the heat pump.
We are delighted with the result, which has meant that we now have a house that is warmer than before, and warmer all day. In addition, we have plenty of hot water, with none of the concerns about the cost of oil or electricity to heat it.
So we are looking forward to being both warm and fossil-fuel-free next winter.
We would not hesitate to recommend the team at Eagle to install a GSHP system in a domestic property.
